📋Rubick Onboard

This section explains how does Rubick OS Onboard work

Overview

Onboard is an application on OS that helps consolidate all the product information from your database to our system. Onboard houses a lite version of PIM that works on our proprietary unified SKU architecture to sync all products across categories. Onboard fastens the process of going live with sellers on marketplaces by easily mapping catalogues and taxonomies in one click.

PIM

In eCommerce, a Product Information Management (PIM) system is a centralized platform to manage and organize all product-related information. It is a single source of truth for product data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness across various sales channels and customer touchpoints.

The Product Information Management (PIM) system by Rubick OS lets you consolidate all the product information from different sources through API, integration or Excel upload. y

Taxonomy

In eCommerce, taxonomy refers to systematically classifying and organising products into categories and subcategories. This helps structure an online store to make it easy for customers to find and browse products. A well-designed taxonomy enhances the user experience, improves searchability, and can positively impact sales.

Rubick OS syncs and stores your taxonomy for future use to enable consistency across the category. Rubick OS stores categories, sub-categories, and attributes and configures mandatory and non-mandatory attributes.

Configuration

Rubick OS Onboard requires a one-time configuration to connect with your existing PIM/eCommerce Store or crawl your website (Just like Google does!) to fetch all your product information and taxonomies to build a base data layer.

Depending on the complexity and new integrations, we might take 3-10 days to get you set up.
