Create Ready to Upload Catalogs

This section explains the creation of ready to upload catalogs for different marketplaces.

Overview

Every marketplace defines standards and formats to list a product on its website. The number and types of attributes will vary depending on the marketplace or category. Each attribute might also have varying allowed values that can be used. While all of it sounds complicated and confusing, Rubick OS has made this very simple. Read on to know more.

Using Generic Taxonomies

Rubick OS has marketplace taxonomies created and stored for generic use. We call these generic taxonomies. You can start using the taxonomies to catalog your products to list on the marketplace in a simple two-step process.

Step 1: Product Sync

If you are a Marketplace:

Step 2: Connecting Taxonomies

Rubick OS enables a single view for all your products. Each SKU will have all the connected marketplace taxonomies in the details section. Here is how to access it.

Hover over the 3 dots and click on view to see the detailed SKU view. Navigate to Taxonomy.

All the existing taxonomies will be visible here. Click on Connect Taxonomy to add a new taxonomy. Filter the taxonomies by marketplace or search the category to find your taxonomy. Click on Connect and you are set to go.

Step 3: Cataloging

Once the taxonomies are added, you can view the details in the taxonomy tab. Click on edit to enrich the attributes as per the marketplace taxonomy. You will also have the base taxonomy as a reference to enrich as per the marketplace.

You can also use Rubick Copilot to use AI to enrich your catalog.

Downloading Marketplace Template

As the products are cataloged, our PIM automatically saves the progress. You can filter the products by taxonomy at any point in the product view to see the SKUs in a marketplace template view. Click on export to download the ready to upload templates.
